Widely recognized as “sillaangaattar” and “sakkaraik kaarar”, he became a symbol of trust and leadership in his taluk.
Following this proud tradition, Mr. V.P. Arunachalam, our Chairman, and Mr. V.P. Periyasami, infused innovation and dedication to diversify the mandi business into turmeric and jaggery trading. Together, they built a robust network of farmers and buyers across 20 states, with operations in five prominent South Indian markets. Their support extended to farmers even before sowing, ensuring procurement and trade continuity. Despite the passing of former MLA Mr. V.P. Periyasami, Mr. V.P. Arunachalam continued to spearhead the company’sdominance in the sector.
Since 2022, Mrs. Nivedha Nirenjan has joined this illustrious journey, leading a successful relaunch of AVN Stores as a HORECA wholesale company. She has enhanced operations by sourcing groceries directly from farmers’ markets across Tamil Nadu and catering to the unique needs of prestigious colleges and industries.
